Prescient Ridge Goes Live on New Trading Infrastructure
According to Connamara, the Chicago-based provider of trading architecture and applications to both sell-side and buy-side firms, the project was commissioned as part of PRM's plans to upgrade its trading architecture to increase the number of markets it can access. The project took three months of development and one month of testing.
To reduce costs and delivery time, Connamara used its Made-to-Measure trading components to underpin the custom development work. It also used its automated testing, test-driven development, and continuous integration strategies to ensure platform quality and maintainability. During the new platform's implementation, Connamara created a new user interface for PRM to control strategies and monitor risk. Further work went into the integration of the trading platform with PRM's existing back-office applications.
